Welcome to troots. These Terms of Use govern your use of the troots mobile application and related services. By using troots, you agree to these terms.
By accessing or using troots, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, you may not use the app.
You must sign in to use certain features. troots currently supports Sign in with Google and Sign in with Apple (platform-dependent). You are responsible for activity under your account.
You retain ownership of family tree content you create. You grant troots a non-exclusive license to host, store, sync, and display that content to operate the Service.
Tree owners may grant collaborator roles (owner/editor/viewer permissions as implemented in the app) and may remove collaborator access.
troots offers paid tiers (including Plus and Pro where available). Purchases are handled by your platform store (Apple App Store or Google Play) through RevenueCat integration.
Subscriptions may auto-renew unless canceled. Manage or cancel in your platform account subscription settings. Some builds may not have purchasing enabled.
troots does not store full payment card details.
You may not:
We may suspend or terminate access for violation of these Terms. You may delete your account through the in-app account deletion flow. Shared tree access can also end if the owner removes access or deletes a tree.
troots is provided “as is” without any warranties. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app.
You agree to indemnify and hold troots harmless from any claims arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Kerala.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
